but first and foremost God's blessings!
Thank you for all your inspirations!
I look forward to seing all your great projects 2017.

For this card I used:

Happy 100th Birthday!

I think it is the first time I make a card for a 100th birthday.
The birthday is on New Years Eve,
but while we thought there will be many visitors on that day,
my husband and I decided to visit the old lady on Christmas Eve.
I am so glad we did!
This lady looks like a 70 year old woman.
And she can remember, of course from her childhood,
but also what happened last year and two weeks ago. Amazing.
I brought my guitar for our visit, and we sang Christmas Carols.
My husband read some Christmas poems
and the Christmas Gospel, Luke 2,1-20.
The old lady showed her joy. It was wonderful.
I made a combined Christmas and Birthday card.
And because I am fond of CAS,
I also made this one without much stash.
I used:
Red card stock;
Snippets of green papers and designer paper;
Spellbinders Poinsettia and scalloped oval dies;
Stamp: Rico design;
Embossing powder: Rayher "gold";
Rhine stone;
"Gold" pen and metallic ink;
Number: Artoz sticker.

Koffermarkt / Suitcase Market

During the last weeks I was busy
with the Christmas marked here in our town.
It was a "Koffermarkt", a "Suitcase Marked"
where you may sell all sorts of hand crafted, self made things
from an oldfashioned suitcase.
This is a form for market that is very popular
 in Germany and in Switzerland, where I live.
This time we got a whole table each of us to present our stuff,
so it was rather a sort of luxury.
And of course the old suitcase had to be there.
In my suitcase I had my cards,
most of them Christmas cards.

For this one I used:
Cream card stock for the card and the mat;
Scrap papers, diferent colours;
Stencil: Holly (Penny Black);
Holly wreath die (Marianne Design);
For the 3 hanging hearts: Nellie Snellen die;
Different die cut left overs from other dies;
Brown distress ink;
Glitter glue;
red and green pens.

And here are some pictures from the marked:

Kinderpullover

Litt mer pjoning

Her er to stykker strikket i Drops Karisma.
Mønsteret har jeg funnet her,
designet av Heklelinda.

CAS Match Box

I think I am in a sort of "Poinsettia Mode" now before Christmas.
Today I decorated a match box,
of course in the CAS style,
using this beautiful dies from Spellbinders.
The match box is not very big,
so I used only two of the dies.
I also used:
Snippets of red, creme and green card stock;
"Gold" metallic ink, pen and glitter glue.

Mini Christmas Candy Boxes

Last week I bought some small boxes.
Now I have decorated them for Christmas candies
(or something else).
On the front side there is a poinsettia,
made with the beautiful Poinsettia dies from Spellbinders.
The colour of the flower is cream, not white.
On the back side I mounted a plate to write on,
also a Spellbinders die.

Pjona votter, Handschuhe, Mittens

men innholdet vokser, sakte men sikkert.

On the way to Bethlehem

For many years I conducted a children's choir
back home in Norway.
Every year we used to sing a Christmas Cantata,
of course in Norwegian.
One of the songs tells about Joseph and Mary,
how they long for a bed as they come nearer to Bethlehem.
And "Mary was sitting on the donkey".
When I see this stamp, I think of this beautiful cantata.

For my card I used:
"Papeteria" A6 double card dark blue;
White card stock;
Scalloped circle die: Lifestyle;
Image: Inkadinkado;
Sentiment: Rico Design;
Silver embossing powder;
Colour pencils and silver pen.

A Christmas Carol

One of the most beloved Christmas Carols here in Switzerland is
"O du fröhliche".
I have made a quite simple card with focus on this text.
I used a dark red double card and white cardstock.
Frame: Spellbinders.
The text is written on my computer.
I also added some half pearls
and "gold" doodling.

Stars

On day 11 of her Holiday Card Challenge, Beccy asked for stars.
I have been away for about a week now,
so therefore I could not participate for some days.
Well, here is my first "star card".
Unfortunately the sentiment looks too small for this card.
I'll try to find another stamp for my next one.

Blue paper for the mat;
Marianne Design star circle die;
Artoz star border punch;
Heinz Design snowflake stamp;

A Christmas Carol

Over at Beccy's Place the challenge for day 6 is
My Christmas Carol for this image is "Silent Night".
This song was written by Gruber and Mohr
in the German language,
and sung for the first time on Christmas Eve 1818.
Now it is the most beloved Christmas Carol
all over the world.
Because I live in Switzerland
and we speak German in the part of the country where I live,
I decided to use the original text on my card.
It is the last line for the last verse:
"Christ, the Savior is born".
For my card I used:
"Papeteria" A6 double card dark blue;
White card stock;
Image: Beccy, "The Nativity Set";
Text written on my computer;
3 half pearls.

Santa Claus in Blue

When Beccy asks for favorite colours,
I think I have to make a card in light blue.
As I was a little girl, I nearly almost wore light blue dresses,
because blue was my favorite colour.
(At that time girls did not wear jeans.)

Today I made a card with this Santa image,
that I won at Beccy's Place some days ago.
I find it great!
Also the sentiment is from that Skating Santa Set.
The snowflakes, a little siver and a little light blue,
are made with a Heindesign stamp.
I don't know from whom the die is.
I cut it with my Cuttlebug.
Silver and light blue distress inks.
Silver pearls.
